UNDERWATER ROBOTIC OLYMPIAD 2010
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
Robotics is an engaging engineering field that has captured the hearts of many youngsters. We at Republic Polytechnic have developed a core competency in robotics to cultivate and develop the interest and passion of our students, particularly in Underwater Robotics. As a mark of our achievement, Republic Polytechnic has recently continued the remarkable feat of sweeping all the medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) in the Underwater Robotics category at the Singapore Robotics Games 2010.INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
To cultivate the secondary school students’ interest in underwater robotics and to impart them the basic knowhow in underwater robotics, the Republic Polytechnic School of Engineering, supported by Singapore Science Centre is organising the competition - Underwater Robotic Olympiad 2010 – for the second year running. This one day event will allow students to learn the basics of underwater robotics, design and build their own underwater robots to swim and race at our Republic Polytechnic’s swimming pool. Participants will receive certificates, and stand to win cash prizes and trophies. Follow up workshops after the competition event will also be available for participants who wish to deepen their knowhow in underwater robotics.
We would like to invite your school to participate in the Underwater Robotic Olympiad 2010.
